Near the border
between Orlando and Kissimmee, is the alligator and
wild life sanctuary. A concrete Alligator head at
the entrance welcomes you. This is Gator Land Orlando

Alligator Island has the largest
reptiles here in Gator Land, where you see Alf, which
weighs 1000 pounds. Many species of birds including
bats are seen here. Even at Flamingo Lagoon has many
species of wild birds other than the American Flamingoes
known as Firebirds.
At Jungle Crocs, you see the man-eaters
from Africa and Indo Pacific region. The endangered
species—American and Cuban Crocodiles also live
here. This is not the place for the softhearted ones,
for the Cuban Crocodiles leap high out of water and
so can be dangerous.
Just as Busch Gardens tickets take
you to a family adventure park, Gator Land Orlando
Florida is entertaining for both adults and kids.
Children can cool off at Lily’s Pad. It has
slides and jets to play in. There is Fun Face Painting
for the little ones just outside, the park’s
railroad. There is the Breeding Marsh and Bird Rookery
here to observe the mating and behaviors of reptiles.
